Question
Why does the water from the washing machine not drain away?
Answer
If the device does not pump out water, the pump filter may be clogged. The water then remains inside the device and no longer flows out.
The first thing to do is to remove the pump filter. Then clean it under running water. If a clogged pump filter can be ruled out, the machine should be pulled forward a bit and checked to make sure the drain hose is not kinked or crushed or below the water level of the drum.
If the washing machine still does not work, it is necessary to have it checked by a service technician.

If there is a whistling noise, then the tap of the water inlet is probably not turned on properly, or food residues have slipped through the sieve and are hanging in the drain hose.
