Why does my washing machine no longer turn on?

First check power supply:

Is the plug inserted? Is the socket supplied with power?

To test the socket, plug in another device and see if it turns on. If it does not, a circuit breaker (RCD) may have tripped. For testing purposes, do not use extension cords or multiple outlets.

If the socket works, unplug the device for 20 minutes and then try again. If the washer still does not work, a test by a service technician may required.
