Why do sparks occur when I connect my Audio System S64007 to the power supply unit?

Answer

Crackling or sparking can always occur if the mains cable is plugged into the socket before the round plug is connected to your micro audio system.

Please always observe the connection sequence as described in the manual on page 62.

8.1. Mains connection:

• To do so, insert the round end into the DC IN 15V 1.5A connection socket.
• Then plug the mains power adapter into a properly installed 220–240 V ~ 50 / 60 Hz earthed power socket that is always easy to access.
