Where can I find information about the installed hardware in Windows 10 and Windows 11?
The Device Manager does not provide information about components such as the installed motherboard or the installed BIOS version.
This and much more information can be read out with the program MSInfo32, which is displayed in the start menu with system information. If MSInfo32 is not linked in the Start menu, it can be opened as follows:
Press the key combination Windows key
+ r
. Type msinfo32 in the Run dialog and confirm with Enter
.
For example, the mainboard designation is displayed under System Overview behind BaseBoard Product.
