XMP, memory running slow

Hello, I bought a new computer from our swedish retailer yesterday.

The memory provided in the gaming pc is rated as 3200mhz, but is only running at 2933mhz.
I guess the issue is that XMP is not acctivated in bios. I was looking i the UEFI-settings (bios) and couldnt find any way to acctivate XMP-profile.

What shall I do?

The computer is:
ERAZER Engineer P10 (MD 35035) NL
MSN: 1002 4044

Thank you!

Welcome to the forum @gustavhoo

Without looking on computer specs there's a general fact when it comes about XMP. If your CPU does not support overclock XMP should not be seen or disabled to avoid any problems (in most of the cases computer lock down/ shut down in less then 10 sec after powering up). Missing the option in non overclock CPU is a safeguard based on "better safe than sorry".

The memory frequency is dictated by CPU model and type and works as it should.

Any modifications without adjusting/overclocking CPU will result in (maybe) performance increase and loss in overall stability.

I hope that helps

Cheers
