SSD Slot in Erazer Defender P50 MD62596

Hey,

I just ordered a Defender P50 MD62596. But since it only has a 512 GB M.2 SSD, I would like to upgrade the storage to at least 1 TB. So I was wondering whether this laptop has a 2nd empty SSD slot, or not (I tried to search for some info online, but I didn't find anything really reliable). And if there is an empty slot, is it a M.2 slot, or a SATA one, and is there any size restriction? I'd like to order the SSD before actually receiving the laptop.

Thanks a lot!

Hi @DoraBora and welcome

there is a second slot for one:

NP70RND1.png

M.2 PCIe Gen3 x4 Solid State Drive (SSD)

You have a 512GB PCie installed. Some competitors also sold the barebone Clevo NP70RND1 with 1TB. should go as.
