Hello. I bought a Medion Erazer Engineer x10 (MD34944) four years ago (end of 2020). It has worked fine until May this year, when it started to freeze (and even sometimes reboot by itself) while gaming or while doing other tasks. I googled a bit and read in this community forums that other have the same problems with these PCs;
My PCs MSN number is 10023887
And this is the PC I bought;
Hope to get help here, fingers crossed. BIOS update or something.

HI @Fraydoc ,
first of all aI want to welcome you in the MEDION Community and wouldlike to collect some more infomation.To kepp your system up to date it always helps to use the Windows Update application to ensure your unit to run with the latest drivers and Windopws version.
The reasons for system freezes could as well be hardware- as software related, so despite the Windows version you should check, wich Bios version you´re operating..Thisis displayedin the Bios startscreen,which you can gain acces by continuosly hitting the del or F2 key at the system start.
The latest Bios fersion for your ECS B460H6-EM mainboard is V 1.07 and can be dowlnload here.
If you´re not familiar with running Bios updates, you may contact your local MEDIOn Service to assist you on the phone.

Hey.
So my PC has been up to date through Windows Update application and so has my graphic card through the Nvidia application. I've scanned the PC at cmd with various scan methods, aswell as scanned the PC with Malwarebytes and Windows Defender.. many times. Like stated above, this freezing started in the start of June.
Today I did a factory reset on the PC. It seemed fine at first, but then it froze.. while updating Steam or some other minor task.
Also, thank you for the BIOS update download link. I checked other threads how to update the bios to the 107 version, as I still have the one frmo 2020 when I bought the PC (v 105) , but it doesnt seem to wanna start the process. Like explained in other threads, you and/or daddle mention to run the flashSYS_W file , but it doesnt start for me.. When I run the file, I see a quick cmd looking window opening and closing.. it happens in a flash.. but nothing happens.
Hope to get more help here as I really wish to keep using this PC as I dont really need an upgrade for the old games I play.

Hey again. Update on this case;
I've done a fabric reset on windows and updated BIOS to v.107 , but the PC froze again while gaming. Anything else I can try? Thanks.

Hi @Fraydoc ,
with all the latest Windows updates installed, the Bios updated to the newest version and the machine still freezing I fear you should open up a service case via our MEDION contact form, register your PC, maybe run the MEDION Service App and have the unit repaired.
If you have questions regarding the service procedere, you can feel freetoask them here.
Cheers
