P7651 M.2 Upgrade

I am planning to upgrade to a 1TB M.2.  I am looking at:

Interface: PCI Express 3.0 x4 NVMe 1.3

Form Factor: M.2 2280

I am assuming that the P7651 supports this but would appreciate confirmation.

* SATA Interface: SATA Revision 3

* SATA 1.5Gbps, 3Gbps, and 6Gbps interface

Unfortunately, your SSD interface is SATA, therefore it is note compatible with any PCI Express SSD.

Perfect.  Exactly what I need to know. 

I have a 512GB M.2 installed now but need at least 1TB.  Also adding a 2TB 2.5" SSD as companion.  I didn't buy this Laptop to use as a DAW, but have found it to be very good, so need more capacity.

Again my thanks for checking and saving me from yet another expensive mistake!
