MEDION P15811 Windows 11 graphics / drivers

Have changed my machine from W11 to W11

     The graphics accelerator semes to a have installed itself as a Nvidia Geforce GTX 1660 Ti, and downloaded all the Nvidia stuff,

            and in device manager,

the Nvidia shows up with error

"Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)"

Any suggestions please,I cant seem to find a W11 driver pack for the P15811 on the medion site.

@drjohnsmith

I am sorry. I am not a tutor for basic functions.  This you should ask google..There is only one  Device Manager in a system.

Windows Tab plus X --> Device Manager in he upper half of  the opening little frame.

Thank you , your sence of honour is impressive.

 i thought there was only one device manager in W11,  but despite , me and the original replier talked about that , but you mentioned device manager again so thought I'd better check there is not another ..  been a few decades sincevi was at university doing PhD and having to tangle with things like bios.

My desire to double check im understanding is because I depend on the lovely laptop, and dont want to break, it further,

I am only talking on this forum as i understand it has the most profesional level of support,

     The first reply says to re install and or disable drivers, which is via the device manager , I think, unless you think I should do that another way

Thanks for your time

@drjohnsmith

Sarcasm doesn't help. May be you should train your sence of honour a little bit. Because  to ask basic  things, and the wish to have it  explained, drains our time and energy  which we provide on a nonpaid basis privately, to help others.

Energy, which we would rather llike to invent into the necessary explanations  concerning Medion PCs and other Medion devices.

Your desire to have basic things about a computer or its operating system explained or queried here suggests a slightly diminished sense of ambition. These are things that can be easily explained with a simple Google search, and are understandable for all educational levels, including doctoral students with a post graduate level like a PhD.

The forum isn't  for that; it's to explain specific application questions related to Medion computers and devices. Of course, there are sometimes necessary technical notes, as I have also provided.

And in the course of this thread  I can't see any discussion about different device managers. I can not know what you did  discuss with somebody else somewhere. 😏

Sorry the discussion here reminds me a little of the children's song ""There's a hole in the bucket dear Henry, dear Henry"  etc  🙂

You do know how it goes o, do you?

Regards, daddle

Do you have any other thoughts please.

I think I've followed your suggestions,  but im a bit rusty at this sort of stuff,

As we don`t support W11 on this unit, further diskussion is pointless.

Thread closed.
