M7613 boot issue

The laptop is reaching the medion log screen but not then booting.

Bios is bit accessible on del/f2/f11 etc.

Hard disk is ssd and is accessible on another pc

Laptop only shows medion logo and goes no further even with HDD removed..

I have flattened the main battery but that didn't change anything

Any ideas?

This occurred between a shutdown at night and starting it the following morning

Hi @Simjon ,

I can't find any info on your system, I dont think M7613 is a correct modelnumber, do you have the MD or MSN number?

If it is a notebook with a removable battery, you could try to remove both the battery and the charger, then press the powerbutton a few times.

After that, reconnect the battery and charger, and try again.

Kind regards,
Bart

HI @Simjon

Can you see the current SSD in the BIOS?
Would it be possible to crosscheck with a different compatible SSD on your laptop to check if it can be seen.

Is your machine still under warranty?

Cheers!

No to warranty . 2014 vintage.

Cannot get into bios at all . That's the problem

I suspect it's corrupted.

I also fitted the original HDD the machine came with (I copied it to my ssd when I replaced it)

No change

@Simjon

Ah! I was hoping you could access the BIOS....

As it is out of warranty, I have spoken to my service team here and the recommandation is that you send it in (with the original drive) to get it all reset to factory default.
You would get a quote for the cost , with an option to decline it of course and we would proceed with the repair once paid.

Please call our support line to book your return should you decide to do so.

Cheers!
