Laptop is dead.

My son's Erazer laptop has worked great for almost a year.

Tonight he tried to turn it on........and nothing happened.

I have checked the charger with a multimeter and it is ok.

Plugged the charger into the laptop and nothing happens..........no charging light......won't turn on.........nothing at all works.

Been plugged into charger over 30 minutes........and still nothing...........the lsptop is dead.

@Davey

Hi Dave, first of all you should state the name of this Laptop, as well the MSN Number.

What you could do in the meantime ist to follow the instructions here:

--> https://community.medion.com/t5/Videoclips-Tips-Tricks-Tutorials/Tips-Device-isn-t-responding/ta-p/9...

Because your Laptop shows no reaction at all, it would be advisable to remove the battery or its connection to the mainboard for a couple of minutes, and press the powerswitch for about 15 seconds.. even if it includes the necessity to remove the bottom of your son's  Laptop.

regards, daddle

@Davey

Not if you are carefully with the electronic components. Take a static discharge for yourself before touching anything inside.
