Erazer X7853 (MD60539) graphics problems

Hi,

I recently purchased this laptop, and although I really like it, I am having problems with many games crashing on it.

The following are all games that I have tried and crash back to desktop immediately:

Fortnite - gives UE4-fortnitegame-athena crash

Doom (2016) - crashes with no error message

Plants vs. Zombies Garden warfare 2 (gives DXGI DEVICE REMOVED error)

3dmark (latest version) - crashes with no error.

I have tried the above in both MSHYBRID and DISCRETE modes, and have tried various driver versions, from brand new on the nVidia site to the ones listed here on Medion's.

I can get all the above games to work using the integrated graphics, but obviously the performance is not enough to actually play them. I have tried running the games in compability mode which also didn't work.

I have also tried a "reinstall" of Windows 10 (using the recovery partition) which was not successful.

Please could you let me know if there's anything else I could try?
