Erazer X66006 - is there room for an additional SDD?

I bought this for my son:
https://www.medion.com/gb/service/product-detail/10023462

Now he needs additional SDD (500GB - 1TB). I've tried to find information about the motherboard (which seems to be ECS B360H4-EM), but I haven't found information about if another SDD drive can be added. Is there room for it, can anybody help?

Hello @21Asala  and welcome

you have installed an M.2 / 2280 / PCIe / 512GB

and you can install an M.2 / 2280 / SATA on the free slot.

Thank you for this comment, it was very helpful.

I have another question about the screw (that is needed to attach the M2 SSD drive): what is the right size of it? Apparently, the hole in the counterpart is so small that the screws that came with the computer don't fit in.

An alternative approach: Can the counterpart be replaced? It seems to be very tightly fastened (or even fixed) on the motherboard, so I did't feel comfortable to wrench it. So: Is it fixed or can it be safely wrenched off and replace it with one that is compatible with the screws that came with the computer?

Hi @@21Asala

You can find the answer here:

https://community.medion.com/t5/FAQs/FAQ-Spezifikationen-Mainboard-quot-ECS-B360H4-EM-quot/ta-p/9925...

For the attachment you need a screw with a metric M2 thread and a length between 2.5 mm and 3.0 mm. The head should have a diameter of 4 mm to a maximum of 5 mm. If the screws are not available in local specialist shops, you can find them in online shops.
