Erazer Engineer E10 Gaming: What PSU it have?!

Heya! I do love my Erazer Engineer E10 (the one with 16GB DDR4 Ram & i5 10400) , but the GPU (the GTX 1650 Super) is now old, and I wanted to move to a new GPU.

From what I got the RTX 30XX line should work on the MEDION B460H6-EM motherboard (let me know if I am wrong), problem is the Power Supply!

I had lot of troubled finding out what PSU it have. It dont have much info on it. Does anyone know the proper model / watt output? It will help a lot! Thanks!

Hi @Lieda ,

it is helpful if you always give the complete product description, e.g. MEDION ERAZER Engineer E10 MD 3xxxx, preferably with the eight-digit MSN article number given on the underside of the housing (e.g. MSN 1002xxx).
Afterwards we can provide details regarding your PSU.

Cheers

Hi @Lieda ,

no prob, PC is equipped with a IW-A450 450WPSUP with active PFC, AC Input: 200-240V~,3A,50-60Hz.

The 3060Ti graphics card will fit on the mainboard despite the double power consumption (200 watts=>3060Ti vs 100 watts=>RTX1650), but the general question is, whether the 3060Ti(PCI 4.0) can develop its performance on a configuration, that comes with ECS B460H6-EM mainboard(PCI 3.0).

Cheers

Thanks again @Major_ToM !!

Well, it should be forward compatible, so beside some bottle neck, I should have still a huge leap in performance compared to the 1650 Super. So what about the PSU? Will the IW-A450 450WPSUP be enough for it? How much watts output does it have? Thanks again for your time!

Hi @Lieda ,

if I do some math, (200 TDP graphics card + 65 TDP of the CPU, which are the biggest power consumers) a 450 watts PSUP should be enough .
Tech specs below:
