Differences between Deputy P50 and P60

Hi,

I'm trying to compare the differences between:

Medion ERAZER Deputy P50 Intel Core i7 16GB RAM 1TB SSD RTX 4070 144Hz 15.6 Inch FHD Windows 11 Gaming Laptop

and

Medion ERAZER Deputy P60 Intel Core i7 16GB RAM 1TB SSD RTX 4070 144Hz 15.6 Inch FHD Windows 11 Home Gaming Laptop

I've tried laptopsdirect dot co dot uk - it does have a comparison function, but the data is very inconsistently populated and sometimes clearly wrong or I don't believe (e.g. it says P50 is 3cm high, but P60 is 10cm; it also states P60 doesn't have USB-C, but P50 does, etc.)

I've tried numerous other sites, but run into similar problems

I tried looking at Medion website for tech specs to do it myself, but it doesn't have tech specs, e.g. https://www.medion.com/gb/service/product-detail/30037399

(I'm aware there are variants of the P50, such as one with an RTX 4060 with QHD, but the above are the two I'm explicitly interested in.)

Can anyone guide me on this or point me to a reliable source?

Thanks in advance 🙂

No sorry, not at the moment. Because the service page is being rebuild, so we do not get all information. But we have a Deputy p60, which has an Intel i9-13900H, and a Deputy p60i, which has an Intel i7-13620H. But no Deputy P50.

May be a different name "Defender p50" ?

Hi, thanks for such a quick response. It's definitely a deputy. It's listed in many sites, for example:

https://www.laptopsdirect.co.uk/medion-erazer-nb-deputy-p50-15.6-fhd-144hz-intel-core-i7-13620h-16-g...

OK , then it is this one. It has the SKU= MSN 30037399.

In the german service page it is called  a Deputy P60

--> https://www.medion.com/de/service/product-detail/30037399

Driver package looks the same. Only the firmware version differs, but all  seem to have identical mainboards.

Ah, thanks, so:

https://www.laptopsdirect.co.uk/medion-erazer-nb-deputy-p50-15.6-fhd-144hz-intel-core-i7-13620h-16-g...

SKU: 30037399

If we look at Medion -- https://www.medion.com/gb/service/product-detail/30037399 -- it lists it as

NB ERAZER DEPUTY P60 MD62624 UK

https://www.laptopsdirect.co.uk/medion-erazer-nb-deputy-p60-intel-core-i7-13620h-16-gb-1tb-rtx-4070-...

30038641

If we look at Medion -- https://www.medion.com/gb/service/product-detail/30038641 -- it lists it as
NB ERAZER DEPUTY P60 MD62624 UK II

And from what you've said, it sounds it's some peculiarity perhaps of international naming convention / changes in naming, and the "p60" is actually just a later model than "p50", although if it's same firmware drivers, still not clear if there is any difference?

Sorry you are wrong . Read completely.  It does say in the line underneath the line

ERAZER DEPUTY P60 MD62624 UK -->  MSN 30037399

And the MSN number describes a unique model. So both Notebooks are the same.

MSN  30037399

No cross-purposes talking

In the advertisement a PC  with the MSN 30037399 is called there Deputy P50. On the german page the

same PC is  named Deputy P60. The MSN  is determining the model, and they are all equipped the same.

Your picture I can' t see yet, only tomorrow it will be authorized.

But if you talk now about a Deputy P60 UKII  that 's a different thing. You must tell me which one  you want to compare.

You asked for the Deputy P 50 (the one in the advertisement in laptopsdirect?) in comparison to a P60. Which one? The one with MSN 3003 8641, so called Deputy P60 UK II ?

So you must first define which model Deputy P60 you want to compare with which model Deputy P50 .

Seeing the advertisments at laptopsdirect, they give you a lot of  technical details. We can not supply more at the moment, because parts of the service page is under construction and is rebuilding.

Except in case the exact same model is at the moment traded in the german online shop.. Then more details are available.

@CopperTop

Just see, that in the P50n  advertisment in laptopsdirect  in the explaining text  they talk about the P60, quote:

"Medion Erazer Gear up for battle with the MEDION ERAZER Deputy P60 Gaming Laptop and erase the competition! "

But this, the same text also is printed in the advertisement for the Deputy p60  for a 100  £ more?

https://www.laptopsdirect.co.uk/medion-erazer-nb-deputy-p60-intel-core-i7-13620h-16-gb-1tb-rtx-4070-...

May be that's what you wanted to demonstrate. But that's not my beer anymore. You should ask at laptopsdirect  to

solve this puzzle.

Cheers, daddle
