DP ports issue?

Hi,

I cannot get DP to work with monitors.  I have 2 new cables and neither of them result in the screen displaying anything.  One screen says No DP signal received.

I have updated the bios and tried restarting the pc without HDMI cable connected and only plugging in the DP cable but nothing works.

My monitors are Philips BDM4065UC_00 and Dell p2722h

I have gone into the monitor setting and changed to DP 1.2

My cables are brand new.  I have a 1.2 and a 1.4

I also have a DP to HDMI cable which works fine on both monitors, so the ports are working when I go from DP out to HDMI on either monitor.

HMDI to HDMI works just fine.

Additionally, I have plugged the leads into my old PC and it is working fine with the monitors, so it points to the issue relating to the ports on the card. The drivers are up to date.
