Hello,
I am wondering if it is better for the battery to be plugged in all the time, or to discharge to a certain percent an recharge. This is mainly for times I have the laptop on for most of the day.
Using an Erazer Crawler E10 if that makes a difference.
Thanks in advance for your responses

Hi @ paveley1985,
Keeping laptops plugged in for a long term may reduce battery capacity and speed up its discharge, however depending on use for example if gaming performance may be better when plugged in as certain components draw more power when under stress.
it is best not to let you battery full discharge and keep between 40% - 80% to have a better battery life
it is best to unplug when unit is unattended.
thanks

Is there any method to limit the battery charging max to 80% while plugged in?
During gaming laptop is always plugged in but charging it to 100% everytime reduces battery life. I want maximum charge to 80%
Is there any method or app like other vendors offer?
My model is Medion Deputy P10 for reference

Hi @Xerox ,
some model series do have such a kind in their Bios settings, but this unfortunately is not the case with the ERAZER Deputy P10.
Cheers
