Hi @sybes
this model has indeed 6GB of ram but will accept 16GB, 2 stick of 8 GB would do it or 2 of 4GB if your budget does not stretch to that yet.
RAM:
1x 2048 MB DDR3 SO-DIMM (PC3-12800 / 1600 MHz)
1x 4096 MB DDR3 SO-DIMM (PC3-12800 / 1600 MHz)
(1/2 slots; 16 GB max.)
Let me know if there is anything else we can do for you.

Hi @sybes
Welcome to the forums!
Could you give me the MSN number (8 digits ) of your machine (on the back) this will ensure i look at the right specs before giving you some advice.
Also, how many ram modules do you have currently installed and which OS (32 or 64 bits ) are you using?
Cheers!

Thank you for your answer.
Do you know if is it possible to have one stick with 3go and 1 stick with 8go ?

And is it possible for example, to have 2 sticks with 16 Go for each ? (2x16 = 32 Go)

hi @sybes
I am not familiar with the existence of a 3GB stick of DDR3 RAM, if there was one, only experimentation with that 8 GB RAM would tell you for sure if it worked.
As for your other question, this particular machine only support up to 16GB of RAM, 2 sticks of 8GB would be ideal.
if you have 2 sticks of 16GB handy to try, you could see if it worked but at your own risks.
Can you tell us a little bit more about your intended use , any particular software that would require this much RAM?

Thank you for your answer.
I will try with 2 sticks of 8Go (2x8 = 16)
Do you have some products to advise ?
I have seen some, Could you tell me what is the best ?

It will be used to made hard calculation and use Android Studio with Intel HAXM acceleration with virtual device and chrome at the same time for example. And 6 Go is not enough for all of that.
