I have set up my MEDION LIFE+ Smart Plug S85225 using the MEDION LIFE+ app. When I go to the Google Home app and try to Add device using Set up device, I get two options "New devices" and "Works with Google". New devices can't find the Smart Plug. Works with Google presents a long list of vendors, and scrolling down I see MEDION LifePlus. When I sent that I am directed to my Chrome browser with URL https://assistant.google.com that ends up with https://pxy1.tuyaus.com
The trouble is that https://pxy1.tuyaus.com appears to be a dead web page. Some Chinese in the top right corner, a drop-down box displaying a "+1" that doesn't do anything, a box to enter "Phone Number/Email Address" in which I enter my email address that I used to register in the MEDION LIFE+ app, and a password box in which I put the same password as I used with the MEDION LIFE+ app.
There is a large "Link Now" button that appears to be greyed out. Even though I enter my email address and password, it remains greyed out. Noting else on that web page works, including "Forgot Password", "Help", and "Log in with other method". Everything on the page appears to be dead.
What am I doing wrong in trying to link my MEDION LIFE+ Smart Plug S85225 to Google Home?
