I've been looking at this Desktop computer and been trying to find out how many spare bays there are in the case to fit additional hard drives. The case is listed as BB R.38 S-Line IPO no Bezel HK BK I think but I can't find a specification for it. It has a M2 pcie SSD drive fitted as standard but the board has also got sata on it so just want to work out if I could fit another 3,5" and/or 2.5" HDD to store content.

Hello @Stewy69 and welcome
MEDION AKOYA E32012 (MD 34615) A-UK / MSN 10024235
Board: B550A4-EM
Ram: 1x 8 GB DDR4-SDRAM (PC4-21300 / 2666 MHz) Dual Channel Memory (1/2 Slots covered; 32 GB max.)
1x SSD M.2 (2280) 512GB Phision PS5012-E12 B16A PCIE
The board has four SATA3 connectors,
the power supply has 250 watts and two SATA connections.
I can't tell you how many of them are occupied, there is also no illustration of the inner workings, but there is always space to build in
(there isn't much inside😀)
bye Fishtown

Hi @Stewy69
Fishtowns answer is absolutely correct. An additional information about the one M.2 Slot: It contains the boot Phison PCIe M.2; but it could also handle a SATA M.2 SSD. But of course the built in PCIe is faster. The second M.2 socket is for WiFi only (an E-key)
For space look at the pictures in this thread, it is from the inner view almost identical with your PC.
You can fix a 3.5 or 2.5 HDD or SSD in the predrilled holes at the bottom. Or tape it to the bottom with a double-sided adhesive tape. Or make a stack with two or three disks on top of each other with little wooden sticks for distance for ventilation inbetween.
Cheers, daddle
