Hi,
My power supply broke a few days ago. I have tried to replace it with a new one but I have discovered that the new one has a 24 pin connector for the motherboard, while the motherboard has a 14 pin connector.
I have also found a cable from 24 to 14 pins on Amazon, but I am concerned that it might not work if the cable connections are not correct. The cable is available here (sorry this is Amazon Spain):
I know that I can buy a replacement for the original power supply which is the https://www.shop-fsp.de/FSP450-40EMDN/en, but I would prefer to upgrade it with a more powerful power supply since I am considering changing the graphics card.
I would appreciate any advise.

Hi @manuelonate ,
unfortunately we can´t provide any experiences about your power supply and in case of preventing further system/hardware damage in the future we´d suggest investing in the FSP part
Cheers
