Is it normal for the case fans not to turn on? (Erazer Recon E45 MD35360)

Hello,

I recently purchased the Erazer Recon E45 MD35360 and everything has been working smoothly so far. I am, however, curious about the fact that the case fans don't seem to turn on, even when I load up some heavier applications, like games. Is this normal? I can't seem to find any information about the case fans in the manual or accompanying technical information booklet.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated!
