TV MD31204 Audio output choise ?

Hello,

I have bought a Medion MD31204 TV and I was wondering how I could change the audio settings to outup to S/PDIF. De settings in MENU seem limited:

Sound:

• Sound Mode: Standard, music, movie, user
• Balance
• Auto Volume
• Surround Sound
• Digital Audio Output: PCM of AUTO

Furthermore I cannot select the other settings under Sound.

MENU->Settings seems to have no relevant sound options to me.

Please Help.

Hello @OutputOnTV ,

Normally it should be sufficient to set the digital audio output to AUTO.

Can you see that light is shining out of the SPDIF connector?

Hello Daniel,

After further testing I came to the conclusing it is working. Thanks.

Digital audio output AUTO and by that the sound is playing on the TV itself and on the external speakers aswell.

I turned down the volume of the TV to 0 and now everything is working perfect.
