Hotkey for Medion Erazer Deputy P10 on Windows 11

Hello. I have a problem with my Medion Erazer Deputy P10 laptop. Windows 11 24H2 is installed, none of the HotKey versions are working. I can control the speed of the fans through a keyboard shortcut. But I can't change the color of the keyboard backlight. Does anyone have a solution to this problem?

Hello @Entony ,

have you tried reinstalling the hotkey drivers?

Yes, I reinstalled it. When clicking on special characters like Fn+1 or TAB, the application icon is displayed on top. But the GameCenter application, even if opened, does not start, although I see that it is running.
Let me clarify that I installed the drivers on a clean system, which I previously reset to factory settings.

Hi, I have the exact same problem. For some reason, the Hotkey software is simply not compatibile with windows 11.

What I did: I installed it as administrator (several times), but it is not running. I can confirm that it runs on windows 10. I tried compatibility mode (Windows 7, Windows 8.1, etc.) as administrator in all cases, but still didn't work.

I tried with all the other HotKey programmes (made for other Meidon laptops - downloaded from the download page), but they didn't help.

I ran windows 10 from a pendrive, to see if it still works - it does work. However, when I boot back to windows 11 (installed on the internal ssd), it forgets my settings and I am stuck with the rainbow colors.

I tied to install 3rd party apps that can change the keyboard colors, but none of them recognised my laptop.

Basically, we would need an update I believe as my laptop is not even three years old and I am sutck with the rainbow color. It sucks very much as I would be happy to stay on Windows 10 and have this essential app running, but as windows 10 is nearing it's end, I have no choice but to upgrade to windows 11.

Cold you please provide us with an updated HotKey app designed for the Deputy P10 OR ask, if the manufacturer already has a solution?

Thank you.

Hi. Yes, I also rolled back to Windows 10 and the software works there. But an update is needed for Win 11. We need to write to the developers, apparently. The latest one with Win 11 has problems, but Microsoft will fix them over time. But why Medion did not release the current version of the software for Win 11, which was not released yesterday, is an unanswered question.
