HDMI connection issue with MD 32303 UK 58 inch Smart TV

Have had a Sky Q box connected to the TV via HDMI for about a year or so now without issue.

However now when turning box on after a few seconds the TV switches to HDMI 2. ( and thus no signal!)

Have tried connecting via HDMI 2, however same thing happens but moves to HDMI 3 and so on.

Have tried both a soft and factory reset without any success.

Any thoughts out there?
