I would for safety take the Win 10 Version, after you fiddled with TMP. And it has less requirements as the new Windows version 11 24/2.

And try different USB sticks and ports.

It appears that the Phison SSD is the cause. A fault in an M.2 SSD can cause many unexplained errors. If the USB boot sticks weren't correctly created, or are simply incompatible, or a USB port or stick is faulty, then the computer won't boot.

If the stick created with Microsoft also can't boot, then things get more complicated.

Cheers, daddle

Hi,

I have the exact same issue after doing a windows 11 update on my Medion Erazer Crawler E30 laptop. Every time I boot my laptop it gets stuck on the manufacturer’s logo. I tried re-installing windows using a usb and forcing my laptop to boot on that usb through Bios, that didn’t work either. I even tried unplugging and plugging the battery, ssd, ram and CMOS battery, neither of these work.

Now, I’ve been browsing on Reddit and a lot of people are having the same issue, those who’s also got a InsydeH20 bios (Medion Erazer, Gigabyte G5 and few Dell laptops etc…). Nothing is wrong with our laptop’s hardware, it’s all software issues. Apparently, from what I’ve read, the windows update pushed something into the bios firmware which caused our laptops to soft-brick. So the Bios can recognise any boot drive but boot loader seems to fail.

There is a solution, though I think it’s mainly for Gigabyte laptops with InsydeH20 bios. The solution is to reflash the BIOS using an EFI Shell to bypass the “stuck logo” when booting.

Here’s the Reddit discussion I’ve been reading through: https://www.reddit.com/r/gigabyte/s/0hRRTHOePI

And here’s the solution made for Gigabyte laptops:

https://www.reddit.com/u/Geralt_Endur/s/RFyilccPkF

It’s important to know that this solution is for Gigabyte. I guess you could try using the same Flash tool but with your specific Bios, but I wouldn’t personally do it until Medion post an official solution.

I have a Medion Erazer Defender P50 and I have the same issue ever since the windows update. The issue here is that Medion needs to provide a flashable .sh bios so we can restore our PCs. I have also tried several methods to no avail. I have also spoken to their customer support and all I hear from them is that they are waiting for Microsoft to give them a solution. Thankfully my PC is still under warranty and I can't trust that this won't happen again in the future because of lack of a proper explanation on what is going on. At this point, its been more than a week and Medion should have provided an ETA for a fix. Actually liked this PC but extremely dissapointed in Medion's response to the situation.

Does anyone know where to find the BIOS files? I've reached out to medion but haven't had a response. I'm aware there's a bios update on the medion website if windows boots up for you, I'm at the other end of the spectrum where windows won't boot after the update so need the bios efi files. Gigabyte laptops have a fix for the issue so I can't understand what the hold up is? If anyone can help please?

It's certainly frustrating. Amplified by the fact if you flash your bios you can get back up and working again. We just need the bios efi files which I think is a reasonable request.

Medion takes unnecessaary long, because they do ot develop Bios themselves. They have to get it from the barebone manufacturer. And China or Taiwan really is very far away.

At least a few mü seconds. 😑

Then of course it also depends on the contract they made with them; e.g. how often can they ask for a bios update?

I've found the fix, got my laptop up and running again. On a usb stick, you need the Bootx64.efi file from the gigabyte link and the .BIN file for your laptop from the Medion website specific for your laptop / desktop. Startup BIOS and select run from file, from the usb select the Bootx64.efi and wait a minute for the system to start. When it does type fs0:

Then type the full name of your .BIN file and press enter.

Let the magic happen and you can buy me a beer anytime 😀.

Sorry Life threw a lot at me so I gave up after getting lost in the fix instructuions

No is the short answer
The PDF gives me a longer list of files in the resulting USB than I can get form the gigabyte download which seems to be the EFI file and the 01.Chipset~ folder from MEDION has a setup.exe and no FlashMe.nsh a pile of driverFiles that make no sense to me so I am still sitting in front of a dead laptop but got to the stage 12 where the EFI has booted and I need the FlashMe for the Erazer Deputy P30
Searched for the above and it took me here

Re: New Bios for Medion Erazer P30 - Page 4 - MEDION Community

Which brings me back HERE lol

EDIT 1

Hang on - downlaoded 00_BIOS_SPecialist_P10 and have managed to get the flash.sh to say OCMPLETED and now in process of loading 1.07.04RME1 replacing 1.07.02RME1_10

So I am not dead yet

not on cart

going for a walk

etc

EDIT 2

well I did the Axolotl method of ignoring the guide specifics - going with gut instinct and a bit of what worse can it do - and it works now - back to my wife to start gaming again!

Thans all
