Hello,

I need to replace the microphone on Medion smartphone E5504.

Does anybody knows what is the microphon used there and where to find it?

Hi @milutin,

I don't know which microphone is used, but I expect it to be a part of the motherboard, and not a separate part. I don't think it is possible to replace just the microphone? The Medion serviceshop only lists the charger, usb cable, rear housing and battery as possible parts to be ordered.

Hi there,

It's quiet sad but the cost of a new microphone will probably be the same price of a new phone. Median do not sell individual parts and require you to send your phone as there is not any known repair service centre with th UK which can deal with this sort of repair.

Median should really make the parts available on their website or make it affordable to repairs to be economical for their customers.
