Touchpad - unresponsive left click

Hello,

I have a Erazer X15801 and I find the left click doesn't always respond, often needing more than one click on the touchpad

I had a Medion previously and in the 'Device manager' under 'Mice and other pointing devices' I had 'Synaptics ps/2 port compatible touchpad'. On my new laptop, under 'Mice and other pointing devices' it just says 'HID - compliant mouse'.

The old laptop touchpad worked fine so I wonder if I am missing the equivalent of the Synaptics ps/2 compatible touchpad driver on the new one?

Any help much appreciated.

We spoke on the phone Yesterday and I have escalated this to our software team as per our discussions.
