Thank you, so looking at the manual, I can just take off the back cover and disconnect the battery, which I guess is to prevent any possibility of power in the battery damaging the drive when removing and installing replacement?

Hi all,

Do you really have to eject the keyboard to access the hard drives? I looked at the service manual and it seems both drives are located on the bottom side of the machine. Thanks in advance.
