So i have a Medion tv MD30418, And i recently bought an Google chromecast device to use it. When i got on the setup ( Menu where you choose wich brand tv you have) I did not see the brand ‘Medion’

When i selected another brand and got tot the remote features i couldn’t turn off my tv or change between the volume settings with my chromecast remote, My question is, Can i select a different brand that does work changing the volume etc.. ?

Hello @Amz, and welcome to the community.

Connect your Chromecast and the power adapter using the USB cable. For best performance, use the included USB cable and the included power adapter.
Connect your Chromecast to an available HDMI input on your TV. 3.
Plug the power adapter into an available power outlet.
