BIOS Update for S4216

Hello All

I have a Medion Akoya S4216 which was working fine until I installed Win10 and the battery stopped charging.

The German version of this forum suggests upgrading the BIOS to 507 in order to get the battery charging again.

I am already running BIOS Version 507.

I have tried to update the BIOS again to 507, but receive an error that I need to check the battery first.

Any suggestions are welcome.

a few troubleshooting:

- would the LED charging light switch on?

- have you tested different energy sockets?
- are the connector, cable or charger damaged?
- have you tried a different charger?
