Has anyone ever taken apart a older laptop (small) I was just wanting to know if it has an bios battery.

I found my mothers old laptop EI222 akoya model laptop. However its keep wanting to load the settings from new. I have a feeling the old detachable battery has expired and cant be recharged and i was wondering if theres a battery onboard this mini laptop. If i was able to repair it I would keep it for the grandkids etc.

I could find much information about this old laptop and it 15 years old but like new. Such a shame i cant repair it.

I took 6 small screws out the back but it didnt want to come apart for some reason. I taken a few laptops apart in my time and this one is awkward.
