Screen goes black randomly

The issue is as described, middle of nowhere screen goes black, everything goes unresponsive but the power is still on. So i have to reboot by clicking the off switch to get it working again.

ive read many posts that say it may be related to my graphic card acting up or lacking updates. I made sure every single piece of hardware is up to date but the issue still persists. I also read posts that the hardware may be not correctly attached but there is where i drew the line for now. making sure every single equipment is at its proper place should have been a given sine I bought the laptop only a week ago. What is happening ? I was very suspicious about the brand to begin with because it was at a way lower price point given the hardware but this is kind of beyond reasonable. help please.

I believe my model is MEDION Avantum 17 E1, 32 gb ram and amd ryzen 5 7430u processor.

Please follow the steps below to help isolate the root cause:

1. Driver Update Method
You mentioned all drivers are up to date, but just to confirm:

Did you update via Windows Update or directly from the AMD website?

We recommend visiting the AMD Drivers and Support page to manually download and install the latest chipset and graphics drivers specific to the Ryzen 5 7430U processor. This ensures you're running the most compatible and stable versions.

2. External Display Test
Please connect your laptop to an external monitor using HDMI or USB-C.

If the external display continues working while the laptop screen goes black, the issue may be with the internal display panel or its connection cable.

3. Power Source Check
Try using the laptop both on battery and while plugged in to see if the black screen occurs under one condition more frequently.

If the crashes happen primarily in one mode, there may be an issue with the charging circuit or internal voltage regulation, especially in budget systems.

4. Memory Diagnostic
It’s also possible that system memory is contributing to the instability.

Run the built-in Windows Memory Diagnostic tool, or for a more thorough check, create a bootable USB and run MemTest86 overnight.
