i wonder how much mb/s and which gen the x40's SSD can handle and how much mhz the ram slots can handle

my laptop is the 2023 RTX4090 model

sorry for the late reply, but the RAM of your ERAZER Beast X40 can run @ 5600 MHz max.
Both SSD slots can handle M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 SSD with a tested max. capacity each of 2000 GB
