Medion Akoya E6239 - EFI Issues & Latest BIOS Version

Hi folks,

I've been trying to install Proxmox onto my Akoya E6239. (MD98844/MSN30017473) Just for a personal learning project.

I can install Windows or Ubuntu for example without issue, but with Proxmox the installer failed when trying to write the EFI boot partition.

I suspect this may be a bug with the UEFI bios. I could try manually writing the data, but before that I wanted to see if there was a later version of BIOS for this laptop that I could try to flash to it.

Currently, it's running the BIOS that shipped with it when I picked it up originally years ago. v612. It's an older model so I figure there's a chance that a later version exists. But on the support page I can only see drivers.

Does anybody know where I should look for find BIOS revesions for older Medion laptops?

sorry for our late reply but depending to your currently used OS we can provide you Bios version V 6.13 for Windws 8. & 8.1
