Medion Akoya E32013 RAM Upgrade

Desktop originally had 8GB of RAM - Hynix HMA81GU6CJR8N-XN, so bought another stick of exactly the same for the other slot, but after installation it still only registers 8GB. When I look a BIOS settings - 550A4W0X.205 10/15/2020, it says that there is nothing installed in second slot. Do I need to update BIOS for this?

Problem solved - I just swapped around the original and new RAM in the slots and it recognised the full 16GB (possible connection issue?).
