Changing my processor with motherboard p2A4-em

Hello,

I have a computer with a motherboard p2A4-em and a processor AMD Ryzen 5 1400 Quad-Core. I am exploring the idea of changing my processor. I wonder what would be the best processor possible with this motherboard?

I understand that I would have to upgrade the bios and that upgrade possibilities are linked to that.

I think changing the processor will help me with my lag and freeze with Ableton software ? Am I right ?

what we know is that you one one of mutiple ECS P2A4 motherboard variant but til now that not reallymuch to give a helping answer to your question.

I guess this mainboard is or has been connected to a certain kind of DT PC with a certain MSN material number?

Pls more info.
