So looking at the back of new X10 the area around the ports does not look great! It has a very thin flexible plastic surround that is not flat but curving out a bit. Is this how they all are, bit cheap looking?

This is not a known error.

Have you tried removing and re-installing the part as it is currently under tension which is causing the bulge?

I would not know what to do, it is a very thin cover that seems not to have been installed correctly. Really should be metal like most cases
