Re: Broken laptop adapter

@Peter14

Hallo Peter, mostly any laptop-charger with minimum 90 W should do the job.

I guess the technical details are printed onto you original Charger; propably sec. 19 V with  4.4 amp. rating;

 also some Erazer have an 120 W supply, 19V and  6.3 amp. Any notebook charger in this range should work, just take care the plug has the same inner and outer diameter. But with universal chargers a range of  adapters  for different types are supplied.

Re: Broken laptop adapter

Hello ty for your answer but problem is that my adapter is 180W 19.5V and 9.2A i tried 120w universal adapter with right connector laptop was working but adapter wasnt charging him and when i started some download and more power needed activity it just shuted down. I found 120W maximum for universal adapters so propably i am going to need original one ...

Aha, then I am sorry. I did not expect the Erazer not to work with a 120 W charger; but yoh could have mentioned the needed specificatios in your first post.

With the charger from the other Erazer you can ask one of the mods here, maybe @RS13 can help you and tell us if the charger from the X7481 delivers the necessary amount of currence.

Re: Broken laptop adapter

Hi @Peter14@daddle

Yes, the X7841 charger also delivers 19,5V and 9,2A, so as far as I can tell, they should be interchangeable.

Kind regards,

Paul
